Week: I lost track but I do have updates!

May 14

It has been a while since I have updated this Python blog, I was definitely ambitious when I said I would code every day. I did a good job in the first few weeks, it was going great. But then the semester slowly picked up the pace and then a worldwide pandemic happened and things got a little out of hand.

I am happy to report that I have continued coding and learning, not every day but at least a couple times a week. I kept jumping back and forth on what website/book/source I wanted to learn Python from and I FINALLY settled on this Python Crash Course book. I am taking it slowly but I have been learning a lot. Here are the notes I keep expanding on and some screenshots of not so interesting code but code nonetheless.

I still have a long way to go with coding. I am happy that the coding I have been doing has helped me a lot with the TouchDesigner files I have created but I know I have just scratched the surface.

I am excited to keep learning and mastering my Python. I am also excited to learn other programming languages, my next conquest might be back to JavaScript or Java.

I want to dive deeper into the world of Generative Art and 3D Graphics. There is specifically 2 things I have been wanting to learn to do: use NodeBox, or maybe see if I can do it with Touch, to then create art using a Pen Plotter Machine. I am so fascinated by how the creation of Generative Art came full circle using this machine. After or maybe at the same time I want to dive into Unreel and code in there as well.

I will continue this blog as I don’t want to stop learning. I want to keep coding and open up more avenues in my creative endeavors.
